You need E1 or Microsoft 365 Basic license to set up a gateway to a certified SBC platform, or 2 for the redundant option. For users the Business Voice/Phone System as add on is required, which comes standard in Microsoft 365 E5.

When using a phone number with Call Queues or Auto Attendants assigning the Phone System Virtual User License is a requirement which enables Enterprise Voice (free of charge).

MS Teams calling is currently supported on Windows, MacOS, Android and IOS devices. It is also on supported web browsers and on certified Teams phones.
